Cilantro Herb Sauce

This smooth cilantro sauce is perfect for when you have a lot of cilantro in the garden to use. The cilantro (leaves and stems) combine into a tasty blend with garlic and olive oil for something that is excellent drizzled over your favorite proteins. You can even pour this over eggs or roasted veggies like rainbow carrots or beets for something unique.

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, de-stemmed
1 tablespoon garlic powder 
½ teaspoon sea salt 
¼ cup olive oil (use code TRAILTOHEALTH for 10% off)


Directions

1. In a food processor, pulse the cilantro and oregano a few times until fine.

2. Add in the garlic and salt, and pulse a few more times. 

3. While running, slowly add in the olive oil to emulsify the sauce.

4. Serve with any steak, white fish, or grilled chicken.
