Blood Orange & Mandarin Ving

There is nothing more refreshing than a fresh squeezed citrus cocktail and the perfect pairing for this one is with Ving Vodka! I am so glad I discovered this Vodka, known as the worlds cleanest Vodka! It is women owned, local here in LA, organic and all of their produce is wax free!

I love indulging in a cocktail from time to time but the key is to keep it as clean as possible with fresh produce and carefully crafted liquor that is as clean as it can be.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, de-stemmed, more for garnish
2 tablespoons fresh tarragon, de-stemmed, more for garnish
1 teaspoon dried Juniper Berries
2 tablespoons of zest of 1 blood orange
1 cup fresh blood orange juice (about 4 squeezed blood oranges)
½ cup fresh mandarin juice (about 3 squeezed mandarins)
¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 squeezed lemons)
3-6 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (depends on desired sweetness)
4 oz of Ving Vodka
Ice 
Sparkling Water


Directions

1. In a cocktail shaker, add the rosemary, tarragon, juniper berries, and blood orange zest, and muddle until fragrant.

2. Add maple syrup or honey, and muddle some more.

3. Add the citrus juices, Ving Vodka and some ice. Top the shaker and shake. 

4. Strain into each glass evenly. Top with a splash of sparkling water and garnish with fresh rosemary and blood orange slice.
