Tomahawk Steak
/Craving steak? This Tomahawk Ribeye is seasoned simply and seared making for a quick and easy Paleo dinner. Don’t let its size intimidate you, it is quite the easy steak to master.

Ingredients
2-3lb Grass Fed Tomahawk Cowboy Ribeye (I get mine at Belcampo)
2-3 tablespoons olive oil (Use code TRAILTOHEALTH for 10% off)
Sea salt
Black Pepper
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. Pull the steak out of the fridge for 30 minutes and let it rest.
3. Season the meat on both sides with olive oil, salt and pepper.
4. Place a cast iron skillet over high heat and let it heat up. Once hot, sear the meat on all sides 2 ½ to 3 minutes per side.
5. Placed it in a ceramic baking pan and transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes per lb until the internal temperature 115 - 125 F for rare (this took about 45 minutes but start checking after 30 minutes). The steak will continue to cook about 5- 10 minutes once It is pulled out and resting.
