August Updates!

Well, August turned out to be a rough month! I had Cavitation Surgery at the end of July and recovery has been very difficult for the past few weeks. I am 4 weeks post surgery and am still recovering from it. It was definitely harder on my body then I had anticipated and I don't feel as good as I felt going into the surgery, but I know with time my body will heal and I will be back to where I was or better. 

I had IV’s or medical appointments all but 3 of the past 30 days. Healing yourself is really a full-time job. I started the first few days of Stem Cell Treatment at the Infusio Beverly Hills Office as well as other supportive therapies to help recover from surgery.

In addition to my regular treatments, I was dealing with a lot of Lymph Congestion and a possible infection post surgery so I ended up having to take a course of oral antibiotics which I was really bummed about. I tried to remind myself that antibiotics are ok to use when really necessary and I have not taken any for over 3 years. I made sure to take a good probiotic and eat some fermented foods opposite my antibiotic doses to try and keep my gut healthy through this process. 

After all of the  various treatments this month I am finally feeling better as of the past few days so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I knew that there would be a reason my Stem Cells got delayed and now it is clear why. There is just no way my body would have been ready for the procedure this past week. 

I am currently on a plane to EU! I will be stopping in Barcelona a few days to get over jet lag, get some sun and visit some friends. I used to live there a few years ago and it is one of my favorite cities in the world. It is also my birthday next week so I figured I would cash in some travel rewards and celebrate my birthday before my Stem Cell Treatments. I mean, I am flying all the way to Europe, might as well have some fun with it.  On Wednesday I head over to Frankfurt and Thursday I begin my Stem Cell Treatments at Infusio.
