This simple syrup is sweet and flavorful with the use of honey rather than super-refined white sugar. It is a wonderful addition to any cocktail during the holiday season, but could also be a unique addition to lemon loaves or other citrusy cakes.

Servings: ¾ cup (approx.)
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

½ cup filtered water
¼ cup honey
2 sprigs rosemary

Directions

1. Heat the water, honey, and rosemary in a saucepan set over medium heat. As it starts to bubble, stir until the honey is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

2. Remove and discard the rosemary sprigs.

3. Store the simple syrup in a glass jar until ready to use. It should keep in the refrigerator for up to one week.
