This simple and crunchy green bean side dish pairs well with meat or fish. Search for slender, unblemished beans for tenderness and the sweetest taste.

Cook Time: 7-8 minutes
2 tablespoons butter or coconut oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups green beans, stems removed
½ cup sliced almonds
salt, to taste
1. Heat a skillet set over medium heat. Add the butter or coconut oil along with garlic and onion powder to taste.
2. Add the green beans and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the sliced almonds and sauté with the green beans until the almonds are lightly toasted and the beans are tender, about 2-3 minutes.
