On a recent trip to NYC, I had the amazing opportunity to eat at TAP NYC which is a 100% dedicated gluten free restaurant serving up delicious Brazilian tapioca wraps. They even sell the tapioca flour they make their wraps with in their stores and online that you can order and whip up at home. What I absolutely love about the product is that you don’t have to mix it with anything to make the crepe-like wraps. You literally just pour the tap into a heated non-stick pan to cook, and fill it with whatever deliciousness you want. I have a simple chicken and cheese recipe here, but you can stuff these with absolutely anything from savory to sweet!

Servings: 2 ( as a side dish or Netflix snack)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes


75 g (2.5 oz) Tap NYC tapioca flour (you can also get it on amazon)
Instant pot shredded chicken
Mozzarella cheese


1. Heat a non-stick skillet set over high heat. Add the tapioca flour, spread evenly and cook for 3 minutes.

2. Add the chicken and cheese on one side of the wrap, fold and cook over medium heat until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
