The B.L.A.S.T. (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Sesame Seeds & Tomato)

Looking like a classic hamburger with sesame seed bun, the BLAST sandwich is a combination of bacon, lettuce, avocado, sesame seeds and tomato. Not only is BLAST an acronym for the ingredients that make up this tasty, bright colored sandwich, it is also a blast to eat with buttery, smooth avocado, crispy bacon and juicy tomato. Pick it up by the hands to devour like a burger or use a fork and knife if you prefer things to be less messy.

Ingredients

2 avocados
2 thick slices tomato

Salt or sesame seeds 


Directions

1. Cut the avocado in halve and remove the pit. Carefully remove the avocado from the skin so that the halves don’t break. (Code TRAIL gets you 10% off Nakano Knives) 

2. Arrange 1 half of the avocado on a clean surface with the hollow side facing upwards. Place the tomato on top followed by the lettuce and bacon.

3. Top with the remaining avocado half with the hollowed side facing down. Sprinkle the top with the salt or sesame seeds and serve immediately.
