This is the blog I never thought I’d write. Not only because I was ashamed, but because for years I didn’t have a name for what I was going through. I only had symptoms, pain, unexplained weight gain, and doctors who shrugged or told me I was fine. I wasn’t fine. My body was changing in ways that didn’t make sense, and I was trapped in a cycle of trying to fix something I didn’t yet understand.
If you’ve never heard of Lipedema before, you’re not alone. Despite affecting millions of women worldwide, Lipedema is one of the most underdiagnosed and misunderstood conditions in modern medicine. It’s often mistaken for obesity or lymphedema, dismissed as a cosmetic issue, or simply ignored entirely. But for those living with it, Lipedema is real, painful, and life-altering.
There are so many supplements on the market today that it can feel overwhelming to figure out what is actually worth taking. While the wellness space is constantly evolving, there are a few staples that have stood the test of time and science. One of the most powerful and underrated is creatine.

I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit chasing answers, sitting in doctor’s offices, and being dismissed or misdiagnosed. That experience made one thing crystal clear—early detection is everything.

By the end of it, you'd feel inspired, happy, healthy, and energized. It exists, and I just got home from it.

Whether we're working on our laptops, checking Instagram on our phones, or chillaxing in front of a smart TV, we all rely on technology to get us through the day, and even more so since the Pandemic began. But did you know that the devices you depend on could be emitting harmful radiation? We're surrounded by an invisible network of radiation from our electronics, bombarding us with negative energy every day. They're called EMFs, and they could be the reason why you can't shake off your anxiety and stress.
Last summer, we discovered the convenience of having an outdoor refrigerator on our patio when we got our first Newair beverage fridge. Being in Southern California, we love to spend time outdoors and entertain, and having this fridge has made a big difference. Having Celiac disease is a huge part of my daily life. Whereas some people can just casually eat whatever they want without giving it a second thought, it’s much more complex for those of us with gluten intolerance or sensitivities.
Gluten free seems to have become such a popular diet trend lately, but it can really be a hard world to live in if you are avoiding gluten for your health. I have been gluten free for over 5 years now and somehow I still spend about 30% of my life glutened no matter how hard I try to avoid it.
We all know that staying hydrated is one of the biggest keys to staying healthy. But have you ever stopped to wonder what's actually in the water you're drinking every day? Water straight from the tap can contain potentially dangerous chemicals, heavy metals, herbicides and other nasty substances.
I have put together my top five reasons why you should be using a whole house water filtration system and start living a healthier, safer lifestyle.
Healthy fat is nothing to be afraid of! Not only do our bodies need it to function properly, but fat can also add flavor and life to an otherwise dull dish.
However, not all fats are equal. In this article, we’ll go over the different kinds of fat you should eat, and talk about why animal fat is healthier than you’ve been led to believe. Let’s get started!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you’ve probably heard the term “healthy fat” at least once. But what exactly is healthy fat? And if fat is supposedly healthy, then why has it been so demonized by our culture?
We all know that sugar is one of the leading causes of inflammation in our diets. But there’s another more-often overlooked food that’s making us sick: toxic seed oils.
You may be someone who has suffered from and overcome a chronic health condition. Or perhaps you haven’t faced extreme challenges with your health, but just generally aspire to lead and live a very healthy life. Regardless of the reason behind your interests, the important point is that you have a passion for health.
Lyme disease is a tick-borne illness caused by the bacteria Borrelia Burgdorferi. Untreated, it can cause headaches, brain fog, arthritis, rashes, heart palpitations, severe fatigue, and even facial paralysis. It was officially discovered in 1975. So why is it that we still don't have an accurate test to diagnose it? Why do those who suffer from it often go years without a proper diagnosis, simply because their test results come back negative?
It has been over 3 weeks since I got my first Pfizer Vaccine and so far so good! I, fortunately, only had one minor side effect and no other reactions to it. I am scheduled to get my second dose this coming Friday so I am looking forward to being immunized and starting to reintegrate into life again.
